Why:        To pay tribute to an individual for outstanding service to the community while raising funds for the Club's service and support activities in the community.

Who:        Hon John M Buchanan, a man of the people, long time Premier of Nova Scotia, Senator, 60yr member of the NS Bar.

Where:    LIONS Club Hall, 65 Horne's Road, Eastern Passage

When:        Saturday, 20 October, 2018, beginning 5:00 pm

How:        Organized and hosted by Dartmouth LIONS Club,  a "fun" evening of good food, good fellowship, and entertainment, beginning with a Reception at 5:00pm, followed by Dinner at 6:00pm, with music by ComeBack.  Rollie Thornhill is Master of Ceremonies of the Toast ‘n' Roast activities following the meal.  A Silent Auction begins with the Reception and runs till about 8pm.   There is to be a Door Prize and other Prize Draws.

Dinner Menu:    Includes:  Chicken Cordon Bleu,  with potato & vegetables, juice, roll, dessert, tea or coffee.  Catering and bar services are being provided by the Eastern Passage - Cow Bay Lions.
