Nights With Alice Cooper
Saturdays from 8pm - 3am
He's been called the king of Shock Rock, so perhaps he’s the consummate "Shock Jock"! He's been on the air with the Mighty Q since September of '06, and now rocks Saturday nights, beginning at 8pm, well into the wee hours!
In an interview with the Q from his home studio in Scottsdale, Arizona, Alice said that he pokes fun at the artists he plays on the show, "Because I know them all. They're friends of mine, and we've all toured together over the years. I make fun of Rush, and AC/DC, and the Stones, and I think they laugh along with it."
The music on "Nights With Alice Cooper" is a collection of the best rock songs of all time. And Alice regularly tells stories from his years on the road, hanging out with rock's biggest names. But he draws a line when it comes to content. "There's no politics, absolutely not! We keep it light, it's a very funny show. And at times, very strange."
And it's a big part of why we say that "Weekends were made for Q104".
